Comparison of computed tomography in relation to ventilation perfusion scan in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism

Abstract
 Introduction: Pulmonary embolism is still a challenge in diagnosis due to its variable and nonspecific symptoms. Computed tomography ventilation/perfusion scanning are the modalities most commonly used of pulmonary embolism, both have their advantages disadvantages. One important factors assessment localization diagnostic accuracy these modalities, which serves model different strategies embolism.
 Material methods: The research was conducted as review professional literature available scientific databases. A selection 20 papers made, based on an analysis database formed. Criteria for inclusion were that report sensitivity specificity CT V/P well results tests comparison data from two determined diagnostically more accurate modality.
 Results: Sensitivity 91.89% 98.86% 94.83% case computed tomography. 90.58% 98.33% 96.43% ventilation perfusion method. We can conclude application little compared tomography.
 Conclusion: Ventilation/perfusion lung will accurately identify healthy individuals while other hand we diagnosing sick individuals. . Given this difference between very small, question whether it statistically significant at all. procedures high level accuracy.
